You should only choose one subject per options block with a maximum of three subjects overall.

Students will learn the about interrelated nature of business using business models, theories and techniques to support analysis of contemporary business issues and situations - all skills that are needed for further study and employment. With our close links to One Savings Bank, opportunities to apply for apprenticeships within the organisation are available, with a starting salary of £12,500. In the last year, two students have left the school at the end of Sixth Form achieving successful grades in Business and securing employment with One Saving Bank.

Students will learn about:

• Business decisions and strategy

• Global business

Paper 1: Biological processes 37% - External Assessment

Paper 2: Biological Diversity – 37% - External Assessment

Paper 3: Unified Biology – 26% - External Assessment

Minimum of a grade 4 in English.

The Edexcel A-Level Business supports learners who wish to pursue further studies in Business, Administration and Accounting related courses at university or in applying for jobs in business-related careers such as accounting, administration, customer service, finance, IT, personnel or sales. With our excellent links with One Saving Bank, an alternative career in the banking industry would also be available with apprenticeship opportunities.
