Entry Requirements: - 5 GCSEs at grade 4 including English Language or Literature, and Maths. There are some further entry requirements for specific courses.

Business encourages you to develop a range of transferable skills for employment in many different fields. You will develop understanding of how organisations operate and help you think critically about the world of Business.

At the end of the course you will sit three two-hour exam papers which will consist of a mixture of multiple choice, short and long essays, data response and case study.

Business is assessed through three examination papers with equal weighting.

Paper 1 - Marketing, people and global businesses

Paper 2 - Business activities, decisions and strategy

Paper 3 - Investigating business in a competitive environment

In order to attend Meopham Sixth Form the minimum entry requirement is 5 level 4 GCSEs, including English Language and Mathematics.

To study Business you are required to achieve the minimum of a level 5 in English and Mathematics.

Business encourages you to develop a range of transferable skills for employment in many different fields.

After completing the Business A Level, you can progress to University courses such as Business Management, Accounting, Marketing, Advertising, degree level apprenticeship or directly into industry.
