Overall entry requirements:
A Levels: 5 GCSEs at grade 5-9, including English and mathematics
Applied General Qualifications : 5 GCSEs at grade 4-9, including English and mathematics

Chelsea FC and Kent Crusaders Basketball Instructions:
Students must choose three (3) different subject options from three different Option Blocks (you cannot choose the same subject more than once). If a student is selecting the Chelsea FC or Kent Crusaders options, they will need to pick 3 A Levels/BTECS to study alongside this. Students should ensure they are predicted or have achieved grades that meet the entry criteria for chosen options by consulting the UKAT Sixth Form Course booklet. The blocking structure can be amended dependent on course sign up and other timetabling factors.

Course Details
Students study the purposes of different businesses, their structure and the impact the external environment can have on their success and development. They will need to adopt an innovative and dynamic approach to business-specific problem solving and will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge by applying business concepts to selected scenarios. This qualification provides a vocational perspective, allowing students to interact with the business environment and experience real authentic business practices. Students will complete four units of work over two years. Two units are set and marked internally with another two assessed externally, with one of the external assessments being a 5-hour controlled assessment. Grades awarded are Pass, Merit, Distinction and Distinction*. Completion of this qualification will give between 16 and 56 UCAS points, to gain entry onto a degree course or entry into the workplace. Business studies can lead to further study and careers including Industry, Management and Finance.
