Please only add one course or T Level per application, except for A Levels at EKC Canterbury College, where up to 4 A Level courses can be added per application. At your interview, you and the tutors can discuss the best level and courses in order for you to progress.

Develop your practical skills to an advanced level, to provide hair and makeup services in the media, theatre, fashion and photography industries.

Learn skills for a variety of techniques and cover a range of areas for the Hair and Makeup industry on this course. Our curriculum covers:

• Applying Make Up
• Photographic Make Up
• Eye Treatments
• Body Art
• Tanning
• Art of Colouring Hair
• Dressing Hair
• Make and style a hair addition
• Creating an Image
• Health and Safety
• Working in beauty related industries
• Client Care and communication

In our industry standard salons, put your skills into practice on real clients whilst learning from experts in the field.

Assessment will take place through practical observations in our salons, as well as with written work and online exams.

Once you finish your course, you will be ready to start in an entry-level position in the beauty industry. You can also go onto further study in this area, such as a Level 3 qualification, or an Apprenticeship.
