Course Summary
Mathematics in Context is a qualification for students who loves Maths in KS3 and KS4 but do not wish to study A Level Maths. This course is one year long and will be taken alongside three Level 3 courses.
Course Details
Core Maths will help students to develop their quantitative and problem-solving skills. Students will learn how to interpret solutions in the context of the problem, work with data, understand risk and probability, understand variations in statistics and use exponential; functions to model growth and decay.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
Paper 1: Comprehension (application of statistics, probability, linear programming and sequence and growth)
Paper 2: Application (application of statistics, probability, linear programming and sequence and growth)
