Course Details

The Diploma is the best and most rigorous Level 2 qualification offered by the Institute of the Motor Industry, and we are one of the few colleges in the UK to offer this course.

You will learn:

  • Vehicle systems
  • Removal and refitting of components and service parts
  • How to diagnose faults
  • Electronics

All training and assessment is carried out by automotive industry trained and certified practitioners.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

You will learn through practical lessons in the workshops. Assessment will be through practical observations, written work and exams.

Your next steps...

On successful completion you will have the option to progress onto a higher level of study or an Apprenticeship. Alternatively, you could seek employment within the industry.
