Course Summary

The world of Business is ever changing, and this Level 2 course is designed to help you keep up with it. If you’re thinking about studying Business, you’re likely an enthusiastic problem solver with strong aspirations for your future career, and this course gives you the skills, confidence and expert insights to start turning those ambitions into reality. You’ll develop a solid understanding of how businesses operate, communicate and succeed with practical projects, group work and employer led activities. Alongside, you’ll build essential skills in teamwork, leadership and independent working that prepare you for your next steps into the Business sector. This one-year course is suitable for students who have achieved a 4/C grade in English and Maths.

Course Details

On our Level 2 course, you’ll develop an understanding of the skills needed to manage, communicate and lead within the Business sector. A key part of your studies is the ability to work independently and within a team, meaning you’ll be ready for a range of prospects when you finish College. A series of dynamic topics ensure you’ll leave equipped to deal with the ever-changing Business sector, thanks to group discussions, client briefs and industry experiences. Units on this course include: • Marketing and Promoting Products and Services • Business Organisations • Event Management • Working in Business Teams • Customer Service You will also work alongside key employers to develop the skills they’re looking for, during work placement opportunities and workshops in College.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

The assessments are all designed to test your knowledge of the Business sector and to ensure you’re ready for your next steps. Your final grade will be calculated with a series of unique group projects, coursework across the year, and an exam.

Your next steps...

After completing a Level 2 course, previous students often progress onto further study in Business. Your options include our T Level Management and Administration course, which can take you to university. You can also start a focused apprenticeship, in a range of areas including Business Administration and Human Resources. Entry level roles in the sector are also available for you to kickstart your career.
