You can make up to 5 applications to Colleges within the EKC Group, that is:

• EKC Ashford College
• EKC Broadstairs College
• EKC Canterbury College
• EKC Dover College
• EKC Folkestone College
• EKC Sheppey College

*Junior Colleges exist in these locations.

Please only add one course or T Level per application, except for A Levels at EKC Canterbury College, where up to 4 A Level courses can be added per application. At your interview, you and the tutors can discuss the best level and courses in order for you to progress.

You will be taught an overview of technical IT skills, including hardware, networking, programming and maintenance skills. Theory knowledge will also be applied against your modules, which include:

• Data Security

This knowledge will be applied through a wide range of projects and assignments during your course. These will help you build up a portfolio of work to aid as evidence for your assessments.

Assessment will take place through practical assignments, for which you will be graded against unit criteria. There are a variety of assessment methods including observations and professional discussion.

You can progress onto further study, such as a Level 3 course in a computing area or start your career in an entry level job in the industry.
