Whether you're passionate about creative computing, photography, video production, film making, audio production, editing, or digital design, the course offers a comprehensive introduction to the tools and techniques used within the industry.

Course Details

You will explore and experiment in a variety of virtual and multimedia production areas, gaining hands-on experience with a range of Adobe software and audio-visual equipment.

You will learn the fundamentals of:

  • Visual Language: Learning how to communicate ideas or emotions using images, symbols, and colours instead of words.
  • Narrative and Genre: How are stories told and what do audiences expect from different types of digital media presentations and platforms.
  • Digital Design: Introduction to graphic design and digital illustration, focusing on creating visual content for a range of multimedia projects.
  • Photography: Exposure and shot techniques, creating narratives and understanding the meaning behind other photographer’s work.
  • Interactive Media: Exploring the basics of virtual environment design and web page creation.
  • Video Production: Camera work, storyboarding ideas,

Your progress will be evaluated through a combination of practical projects, reflective evaluations, research, and presentations. You'll receive constructive feedback to help you grow and refine your development.
