Course Summary
Environmental Science helps you understand how the world around you works — from the air we breathe to the ecosystems that sustain life. It explores the impact humans have on the planet and the solutions we can create for a more sustainable future.
By studying Environmental Science, you’ll develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and research skills that are valued in fields like conservation, renewable energy, policy, and sustainability. If you care about the environment and want to make a real difference, this subject is for you.
A variety of assessment types allow learners to apply their knowledge in a practical way. An integrated approach to learning supports a more realistic and relevant qualification for learners.
This course provides an excellent base for students to continue their scientific career into further education. Ideal options for progression include degrees in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Nursing, Dental Hygiene and Medicine.

Entry requirements
