Course Summary

This exciting course will provide students with the opportunity to develop their performance knowledge and a deeper understanding of the theatre through theoretical exploration. Students can decide to take on either a performers role or a technical role throughout the course. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to experiment and decide whether they like to be on the stage or taking on a backstage role.

Over the two year course students will explore and experiment with a variety of practitioners, devise their own work with influences from professional companies and analyse set texts from a directors point of view. Each component is described in more detail below.
