Explore the gaming industry and develop your practical skills ready for you to break into this lucrative industry.

Course Details

You will learn practical game development skills as well as a theoretical understanding to help put these practices into place.

Projects you will work on include:

  • Character Design
  • 3D Modelling
  • Game Engines
  • Sound Production
  • Concept Art
  • Level Design

You will also become adept at using the best in industry software such as 3DS Max, Unreal Engine 4 and the Adobe Creative Suite.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Presentations, written assignments, group projects and practical production work will be assessed throughout the year and graded against each unit criteria.

You will be set a final major project at the end of the course, which will be externally moderated to determine your final grade.
