Course Summary

The Level 3 BTEC Sport course progresses from the Level 2 BTEC course allowing students to continue to develop specialist knowledge and understanding with practical and technical skills. Students perform vocational tasks that encourage the development of appropriate vocational behaviours and transferable skills e.g. communication, teamwork, research and analysis, all of which are valued in both higher education and the workplace.

Course Details

The students will complete 4 units over two years graded at Pass, Merit and Distinction. Two units are internally assessed, one is an externally assessed exam and the other is a synoptic assessment marked externally.

Unit 2 Fitness Training and Programming for Health, Sport and Well-being
Unit 3 Professional Development in the Spnrts Industry
Unit 4 Sport Leadership
