Please only add one course or T Level per application, except for A Levels at EKC Canterbury College, where up to 4 A Level courses can be added per application. At your interview, you and the tutors can discuss the best level and courses in order for you to progress.

Are you ready to kickstart your career in marketing?
Our two-year full-time T Level course offers an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of marketing. You’ll explore the vital role marketing plays in organisations, uncovering the differences between consumers and customers while discovering what drives their decisions, from social media and other digital marketing tools to print and various offline platforms.
This course uniquely blends classroom learning with approximately 45 days of hands-on industry placement, giving you invaluable real-world experience and insights into the marketing landscape and its challenges.
You’ll collaborate with local businesses through project work and gain relevant marketing experience ensuring you’re well-prepared for your future. Plus, if you’re considering further education, our Canterbury Campus is conveniently located near two universities offering related degrees, paving the way for your academic journey.
Course Details
Studying this T Level course will develop your understanding of a broad range of topics relevant to the marketing sector, including:
• The purpose and role of marketing within an organisation
• How to apply research methods to acquire and analyse information to support marketing activities
• Ways to assess customers and stakeholders
• How to develop and define propositions for marketing activities
• How to deliver effective marketing communications
• Ways to analyse and evaluate marketing delivery effectiveness
The practical experience gained during your T Level also positions you well for apprenticeships, where you can continue to learn while working directly in the industry.
Additionally, the foundation knowledge and skills you learn will set you up for further studies in marketing or related fields, allowing you to specialise in areas like digital marketing, brand management, or market research.
With the ever-evolving nature of marketing, the opportunities are vast and varied.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
The assessments are all designed to test your knowledge of Marketing and to ensure you’re ready for your next steps.
On a T Level, you can expect to complete dynamic coursework in addition to exams at the end of each year.
A large part of your final grade will be calculated with the completion of your industry placement. By taking part in an employer-set project, you’ll stand out from the crowd in today’s job market and leave College with a clear understanding of what is needed in Marketing.

This course opens the door to a variety of exciting career paths in Marketing. Upon completion, you could start an apprenticeship to become a social media executive, where you’ll craft and manage engaging online campaigns that connect brands with their audiences.
Alternatively, you might pursue a role as a marketing assistant, supporting marketing teams in executing strategies and analysing market trends.
As T Levels are equivalent to three A Levels, former students have progressed to universities across the country. Your degree could be in subjects including Marketing, Advertising or Communications. The choice is yours.
It can also provide you with a wide range of further education opportunities, including higher-level technical studies or progression to a degree-level apprenticeship.
