Course Summary

Whether you?re an experienced dance, or taking your first steps into performance, this course will ignite your passion for the world of dance as you explore various styles, techniques and choreography. Learn the foundation of dance and get the chance to perform on stage.

Course Details

You will study a diverse range of dance techniques and styles including:

  • Ballet
  • Contemporary
  • Tap
  • Jazz
  • Urban and Street Dance

These techniques will serve as a basis for creating captivating dance performances, which you will have the chance to showcase in front of live audiences, both in our onsite theatre, and within the wider community.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

You will be assessed through a combination of written assignments and practical evaluations, including group projects and live performances.

Your next steps...

Successful students will go on to seek employment within the performing arts industry, where skilled dancers are in high demand.

Alternatively, you may choose to further your education by progressing on to higher education or enrolling in a specialised dance or drama school to refine your skills.
