Course Summary

The English Literature A-Level specification offers opportunities for students to develop their subject expertise by engaging creatively, critically and independently with a wide range of texts. Using literary concepts and methods, students analyse literary texts across a range of genres. Students develop skills of inference, interpretation as well appreciating how context can contribute to works of literature.

Entry requirements

Grade 9-4 in at least 5 GCSEs with a minimum of Grade 6 in English Language and English Literature.
