This intermediate level cooking course further develops classical culinary knowledge and workplace skills including time management, portion control, and the ability to multi-task.

Learn culinary skills and techniques from professionals in our industry-standard preparation kitchens. Students learn how to create and prepare menus using a range of produce and creative skills.

Course Details

Build on the skills gained in a Level 2 course by developing industry-specific knowledge and advanced culinary techniques that will prepare you for a successful future career. Units include:

  • Menu planning, food costing, and budgeting
  • Advanced health and safety

How will it be delivered and assessed?

To achieve this qualifications, you will observe practical demonstrations, replicate dishes for assessment, complete assignments, and sit multiple-choice examinations for the practical units you undertake.
