RSL Level 3 Performing Arts (Dance)

Applications Close: - 23rd January 2026 to allow us to build our curriculum. We will accept late applications beyond this date, but they may take longer to process.

Entry Requirements: - Vary by course please see individual subject information on this website. We also require students to achieve at least five Grade 5s or above at GCSE for Level 3 curriculum. For our Level 2 Pathway, students need to have five Grade 3s or above, inlcuding English and Maths

RSL Dance Level 3 qualifications are designed for post-16 students, with an interest in Dance, who want to continue their education through applied learning. There will be a combination of practical and theoretical content delivered throughout the year. This dynamic qualification encourages students to develop their creative and intellectual capacity, alongside transferable skills such as team working, communication and problem solving. All of these are sought after skills by higher education and employers, and will help them stand out in the workplace whatever their choice of career. Students are expected to have previously studied dance either at Level 2 at school or have dance experience outside of school.

Grade 5 or above in GCSE Dance or at least a Merit grade in a vocational Level 2 Dance qualification.

Students without these qualification, but previous dance experience can be considered with an audition.
