Course Details

Learning consists of developing your media skills through practical projects, alongside theory work, to give you a greater understanding of the industry. Units include:

  • Pre-production Techniques
  • Communication skills for creative media production
  • Research techniques
  • Film and Video editing techniques

Building your portfolio is a key part of the course, and this enables you to progress into the desired subject area that you wish to go into, demonstrating practical skills and actual media products.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Your portfolio of your work including written documentation will be graded by external assessors against your unit criteria. There are also specific projects for your units which you will be assessed during.
