Course Summary
Learners will explore how society is structured and how cultural and social influences shape individuals and groups. Core themes include socialisation, culture and identity, power, and stratification. Key topics include Education, Families and Households, Crime and Deviance, Media, Research Methods, and Sociological Theory. Students are encouraged to draw synoptic links across all topics to build a deeper understanding of how social structures and policies impact everyday life in the UK.
