Course Summary
Experience all aspects of working in hotels and the hospitality industry with this comprehensive Level 2 course.
This qualification will develop your knowledge of high-quality customer service, how to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment and effective teamwork.
Develop your skills in our very own award-winning on-site hotel, The Yarrow. This course is run in partnership with the Exclusive Butler School and is perfect for those who want to start a career in hospitality.
This course is suitable for students who have achieved a 4/C grade in English and Maths.
Course Details
Develop your skills in all aspects of hotel work in The Yarrow, including but not limited to:
- Bar Work
- Reception
- Customer service
- Food service
- Presentation skills
- Housekeeping
Our work with The Exclusive Butle School will also give you a chance to experience the highest level of careers within the industry, through learning from professionals. One student a year will also be awarded a scholarship to the two-week Exclusive Butler School intensive course.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
Assessments take place by trained assessors throughout the course, with practical sessions taking place in The Yarrow.
Your next steps...
Once you finish your course, you will be qualified to start in an entry-level position in the hospitality industry. You can also go onto further study in this area, such as a Level 3 qualification, or an Apprenticeship.
