Course Details

With excellent access to music production suites, our recording studio and a theatre, develop technical ability, personal skills and confidence in music, in areas including:

  • Music and Audio for media
  • Events Management

You will get the chance to create a range of music productions for different purposes such as live events, record releases and radio, and these will ensure your knowledge is supported and developed through relevant project work.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Assessment takes place through practical sessions, to demonstrate your professional abilities. A portfolio of work over the two years is also created which is moderated against unit criteria.

Your next steps...

Once you finish your course, you will be ready to start in an entry-level position in the music industry. You can also go onto further study in this area, such as a Level 3 qualification, or an Apprenticeship.
