Course Summary
Experience all aspects of supervision and leadership in the hospitality industry, in our very own award-winning on-site hotel, The Yarrow. This course is run in partnership with the Exclusive Butler School and is perfect for those who want to start a higher-level career in hospitality.
Course Details
As you kick-start your hospitality career, gain the best training and opportunities to develop your supervisory skills. You will experience all aspects of hotel work in The Yarrow, including but not limited to:
- Team Management
- People Management
- Event/function work
- Customer Service
- Bar Work
- Reception
- Food service
- Presentation skills
- Housekeeping
The Exclusive Butler Academy will also give you a chance to experience the highest level of careers within the industry, through learning from professionals. One student a year will also be awarded a scholarship to the two-week Exclusive Butler School intensive course.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
Assessment takes place by trained assessors throughout the course, with practical sessions taking place in The Yarrow. You will also build up a portfolio of evidence to aid your assessment.
Your next steps...
Once you finish your course, you will be ready to start your career in the hospitality industry. You can also go onto further study in this area, such as a Diploma in Hospitality Management.
