Please only add one course or T Level per application. At your interview, you and the tutors can discuss the best level and courses in order for you to progress.

This Level 3 course teaches you the key sports development and coaching skills that you will need to be the best in the industry.

You will learn through theory and practical work on a selection of integral sport and leisure subjects, including:

• Injury in sport
• Sports coaching
• Anatomy
• Nutrition in sport
• Fitness testing
• Sports Psychology

You will also gain employability skills in teamwork, communication and leadership for example, which will help you stand out in the field and gain confidence.

Assessment takes place through practical work, presentations and observations, as well as through your portfolio of work over the course. These are used to demonstrate your professional abilities and are moderated against unit criteria.

Once you finish your course, you will be ready to start your career in the sports and leisure industry. You can also go onto further study in this area, such as at university, to look at more specialised options.
