Please only add one course or T Level per application, except for A Levels at EKC Canterbury College, where up to 4 A Level courses can be added per application. At your interview, you and the tutors can discuss the best level and courses in order for you to progress.

Gain the skills, knowledge and understanding from a range of media specialisms, such as games design, website design, film, TV, radio, sound engineering and more.

Course Details

You will develop your skills and credentials in several key areas, through practical projects which help you build your portfolio. Units allow you to look at lots of media projects, including:

  • Film Creation
  • Cinematography
  • TV Studio skills
  • Media production
  • Digital editing
  • Post Production
  • Graphic Design

You will also complete projects relating to Media theory, giving your practical knowledge context as well as showing you your true creativity and innovation.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Your portfolio of your work will be graded by external assessors against your unit criteria. There are also specific projects for your units which you will be assessed during.

Entry requirements

Level will then determined by audition or portfolio. With little or no portfolio and/or performance experience you will be advised to study on the most appropriate route to build your distinctive portfolio and gain skills and knowledge to ensure success at higher levels of study.
